Ted Shown
Ted Shown is a founding member of PCE and currently serves as PCE’s President. Ted is the CEO of a logistics company he founded. He is a former CVCS Trustee. Ted’s three daughters are graduates of CVCS, and also graduates of Azusa Pacific and Biola Universities. Ted and his wife Linda live in San Juan Capistrano and attend Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California.
Keri Sukut
Keri Sukut is a founding member of PCE and currently serves as PCE’s Secretary. Keri is an attorney by training and now is a full-time parent and PCE member. Keri is a former CVCS Board of Trustees Chair. Her two boys have attended CVCS since kindergarten. Keri and her husband Steve live in Mission Viejo and attend Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo, California.
J.C. MacRae
J.C. MacRae is a founding member of PCE and currently serves as PCE’s Chief Financial Officer. J.C. is a business executive in the medical products industry. He is a former CVCS Trustee and a two term Chair of the CVCS Board of Trustees. His two children are graduates of CVCS and both now attend Westmont College. J.C. and his wife Anne live in Laguna Beach and attend South Shores Church in Monarch Beach, California.
In addition to the principal officers of PCE, we are pleased to have Dr. Dave Baker and Sean McDowell filling key roles in the PCE organization.
Dave Baker, Ed.D
Superintendent Of Education
Dave Baker has extensive experience as a classroom teacher, has been a principal at three different schools and has been a senior administrator in two large school districts, including Saddleback Valley Unified. He currently serves as Head of Schools at Capistrano Valley Christian Schools. Prior to CVCS, Dr. Baker served as Deputy Superintendent in the Azusa Unified School District, where he was personally responsible for all faculty recruitment and programs for their continuing professional development in a school district with nearly 600 teachers serving 12,000 students.
Dr. Baker holds a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne, a Master of Science degree in School Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor's degree from Chapman College.

Sean McDowell, M.A.
Director of Christian Worldview Integration
M.A. Theology; M.A. Philosophy
Sean McDowell is the head of the Bible Department at Capistrano Valley Christian Schools, where he teaches Worldviews and Old Testament Survey. Sean is also a nationally recognized communicator—speaking at conferences, churches, retreats, camps and schools. Sean’s most recent books include co-authoring Understanding Intelligent Design along with William A. Dembski (Harvest House, 2008) and The Credible Resurrection with Josh McDowell (Gospel Light, 2008). Sean has also written Ethix: Being Bold in a Whatever World (B&H, 2006) and compiled Josh McDowell’s Youth Ministry Handbook.

Advisory Board
Premiere Christian Education Group (PCE) has formed an Advisory Board to advise PCE on strategic issues, to help ensure that PCE remains solely focused on Christian education and to add visibility in to PCE’s mission and vision in the community.
The PCE Advisory Board will be composed of prominent Christian leaders who share our view of Christian Education.
Josh McDowell
Speaker, Author

Josh will tell you that his family does not come before his ministry – his family IS his ministry. He and his wife, Dottie, have been married for 35 years and have four children and two very precious grandchildren.

Jim Burns, Ph.D.
President of HomeWord
Jim Burns is President of HomeWord and host of Homeword's 30-minute daily radiobroadcast, 30 minute weekly broadcast, and the 1 minute daily broadcast. Each weekday in cities across America, over a million people hear Jim through his radio ministry to families. His passion is communicating to adults and young people practical truths to help them live out their Christian lives. Jim is a three time Gold Medallion Award winning author and has written books for parents, youth workers, and students. John Mark Reynolds, Ph.D.

Biola University
John Mark Reynolds is the founder and director of the Torrey Honors Institute, Biola's honors program, and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Biola University. In 1996 he received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Rochester.
Dr. Reynolds lectures and writes on ancient philosophy, philosophy of science, home-schooling and cultural trends. He regularly appears on radio talk shows, including the Hugh Hewitt Show, and actively blogs on cultural issues at Scriptorium Daily.
